In 2017 “Giocando con gli insetti” (playing with insects) was born, a work inspired by the games that the artist made during her childhood, where insects become her little companions. Lone child, Mariangela often played with snails, worms and ants in the garden of her house in the countryside, where she invented her fantastic world.
The artist, through her works, wants to revive the inner child that we have inside, our most pure, spontaneous and creative part that we sometimes forget to have.
“What I like the most when I present my works, is to see the brightness in the eyes of the spectators who, through the games, remember and tell me part of their childhood, allowing the inner child to lean out at least for a moment hidden in each of them. “
